Don Thomas

As principal, Don has been with Reata Real Estate Services since its beginning in 2001. With more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience, Don has leased and/or sold over 4,000,000 square feet of retail space. Don is currently involved in the redevelopment of the historic Houston Street and three future developments, as well as the management and leasing of approximately two million square feet of retail space in San Antonio.

As a principal with Trammell Crow Company, Don jointly trained and oversaw the Retail Leasing and Brokerage Department. He partnered in the development of Alamo Quarry Market and Quarry Crossing, a landmark retail destination in San Antonio, and was top retail producer in the Trammell Crow Company in 1996 and 1997.

Don is a 1987 graduate of Texas Christian University with a bachelor of business administration. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, San Antonio Economic Development Foundation and the Downtown Alliance. His community involvement includes serving on the board of directors for Blue Star Contemporary Art Center, Las Casas Foundation, and The Nature Conservancy of Texas Advisory Board.
